Social Fabric
MiBici/Grupo FINCA

Jetty and Carolina own small businesses where they make and sell clothing within their communities. Bikes for the World supplies donated sewing machines to support projects like this in Costa Rica. During the pandemic many tailors began making masks which were purchased and distributed by Grupo FINCA.

Grupo Finca works to identify communities where establishing a cooperative would contribute to the social and economic development of its inhabitants. The focus of the co-ops is to support the development of entrepreneurs through micro-loans. MiBici helps raise capital within these networks through the sale of bikes.

Beneficiaries in Costa Rica use their bikes for work and play. THANK YOU!
